POSITION SUMMARYThe Cleaner is responsible for maintainingthe cleanliness Creative’s offices and officecompound in Maroua clean and maintained,and providing supportfor other administrationand operations tasks,including making coffee and tea for Creativestaff and visitors, photocopying documents,and distributing files among staff asrequested. This position will be based in theMaroua office.Limited travel may berequired.
REPORTING & SUPERVISIONHuman Resources & Administration Officer
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary responsibilities include but are notlimited to the following:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanness ofthe interior of the office including windows,desks, computers, photocopiers etc.Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of theoffice. As requested slash the grass andweed the compound and support casuallaborers to maintain the compound.Clean and disinfects bathroom: sinks,countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.Polish metalwork, such as fixtures andfittings.Sweep, mop, vacuum, floors using brooms,mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor workmay be required such as: scrubbing, waxingand polishing floors.Clean and disinfect kitchen: sinks,countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholsteredfurniture, using vacuum cleaner.Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
Wash walls and woodwork.Wash windows, door panels, partitions, sills,etc.Empty wastebaskets and recyclables andtransport to disposal area.Support the HR & Admin Officer to ensuresufficient quantities of bathroom and cleaningsupplies are available at all times andavoiding waste.Prepare coffee and tea and meals whenrequested for staff and local partners.Request office consumables and have themreviewed and approved by the HR & AdminOfficer and HR & Admin Manager prior topurchase.Assist in keeping the store, warehouse, andstock closets organized and assist the HR &Admin Officer and Procurement & LogisticsOfficer to take stock of office supplies.Review stock and prepare requests forcleaning products to be reviewed andapproved by the HR & Admin Officer.Ensure that cleaning products and suppliesfor the kitchen (coffee, tea, and milk, andsugar) and bathrooms are available at alltimes.Inform HR & Admin Officer of any needs foroffice supplies such as drinking water,bathroom supplies, etc.Inform HR & Admin Officer of any officerepairs which need to be done.Assist in organizing and preparing the officefor meetings.Assist the HR & Admin Officer with filing.Assist Creative team members withphotocopying, scanning, and filing timepermitting.Accompany and direct visitors to theappropriate staff offices.Any other duties and tasks as needed andassigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Primary education required.High School Diploma desired.Prior experience working as a cleaner for aninternational organization desired.Written and spoken fluency in French isrequired.Fluency in one or more of the local statelanguages in the Northern part of Cameroonis preferred.
