JOB ANNOUNCEMENTA Development Organization is seeking the services of a qualified, experienced and highly motivatedAdministrative/Finance and Logistic Officer for the North West Emergency Response Project.
The position is base inBamenda. The duration of the project is one year.The Position is contingent to funding.
Primary Responsibilities:- Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain team and relevant programming staff on logistics services that meetthe pipeline requirements. Help identify challenges in supply chain management and provide recommendations to addressthose.- Support the implementation of commodity delivery operations from arrival from local purchase points to the warehousesand on to the final distribution centers in accordance with CRS and donor regulations and international and local supplychain standards and requirements. - Ensure basic admin and finance processes are completed according to CRS regulations, including short term operatingadvance request and liquidations, payments, drafting of contracts, etc.- Maintain updated files with all required logistics documents and ensure all supply chain management activities andmovements are fully and accurately documented. Prepare and/or review all reports prior to submission per distributionrequirements- Collaborate and communicate with the procurement team to ensure they receive timely purchase requisitions withcomprehensive specifications, delivery schedules, and other terms and conditions, including for labeling, branding, andmarking.
Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant degree preferred. Professional certifications(s) in supply chain orequivalent field strongly preferred.• Minimum of 3 years work experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement management, preferably with aninternational organization.• Familiarity of market dynamics along the chain, infrastructure, market knowledge, as well as related laws andregulations.• Basic familiarity with cash programming, strongly preferred.• Knowledge and experience with transportation, inventory management and distribution• Proficient in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). Experience with commodity tracking systems is a plus.Personal Skills • Good planning, coordination, prioritization, and time management skills.• Good analytical skills with ability to make independent judgment and decisions.• Readiness to learn new skills related to cash programming. •Ethical conduct in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of ethics.•Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented.•Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team environment.•Excellent spoken and written English skills is required. Professional level French is and asset.
