ob Role Summary
The Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Coordinator receives guidance from SHE hierarchy and is responsible for:1. Coordinating activities in any of the following areas as assigned: Safety; Emergency Preparedness and Response; Health and Environmental Management.2. Providing input during the annual planning cycle;3. Updating relevant documentation integrating lessons learned from oil & gas industry and new technologies.4. Coordinating implementation of new ‘best practices’.
Work location is Douala with frequent trips to COTCO sites (Dompta, Belabo, Kribi and offshore) depending on operations requirements.
Expected Level of Proficiency
The Candidate must have a first degree in science / technical discipline (BAC +3/4) or higher within relevant area.
Must be able to speak English and French with the ability to communicate in English over the phone and via email. Having NEBOSH / OSHA diploma is an added advantage.
