Based in Douala
Reports to the Payroll Lead Africa
Contributing to the delivery of the payroll for EABL and Ethiopia Payrolls for approx. 1,400 employees; collating updates and liaising with 3rd party outsource provider Deloitte. The EABL payroll team operate out of locations in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Cameroon and are part of the Global HR Operations function.
The team is evolving with the payrolls for Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Congo to be integrated into the team over the coming months.
The team works within an uncompromising monthly time frame, providing a consistently reliable and accurate service within a dynamic environment from both ongoing legislative and Company changes.
To provide a professional and high quality payroll administration service which enables Deloitte to pay our employees accurately and on time. High level of accuracy is required and must be a subject matter expert on all the above payrolls in order to answer technical queries from employees.
Individuals must work in a compliant manner and ensure all checklists, calendars, variance reporting, KPI’s and journals are completed on time and accurately to ensure we meet our CARM controls.
Provide payroll provider with data changes in the agreed format and by the agreed date on the payroll calendar. Quality of data is imperative and the correct validations should be carried out.
Complete tasks in a compliant manner ensuring adherence to IM&S principles.
All queries from employees and other key stakeholders are resolved satisfactorily within agreed timescales
Maintain technical knowledge of Statutory payments and deductions
Manually process payments as required out with main payroll run.
