ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Douala, Cameroun

Provide the Managing Director with an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service for all matters relating to business travel, meetings, drafting memos and other correspondence, archiving and ad hoc administrative requests.


MISSIONS

    Maintaining and managing confidential company information relating to general management activities and personnel.
    Carry out administrative tasks within the department.
    Assist the CEO in the daily management of the company.
    Safeguard the company's confidential information.
    Act as personal assistant to the CEO, promoting and helping to build teamwork.
    Act as a gatekeeper to the CEO, directing non-critical visitors/callers to the appropriate managers.
    Coordinate travel arrangements and visa requests for the General Manager.
    Organise and coordinate seamless visits of VIP visitors and business leaders from other regions.
    Advise the general manager on the weekly schedules of other managers.
    Prepare the monthly expense statement for the general manager.
    Coordinate the activity of the General Manager's drivers.
    Oversee the development of the Department's strategic plan objectives and initiatives.
    Formulate and direct the effective execution of the department's plan based on strategic priorities to ensure seamless operations that facilitate the achievement of the company's overall strategic objectives.
    Ensure timely provision of data and reports to management and recommend operational improvements to support planning and decision making.
    Monitor monthly and quarterly performance results, identify performance gaps and their ramifications.
    Lead the development of corrective actions that address root causes.

 

REQUIRED PROFILE

    Diploma in Secretarial /Office Management
    At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in the private sector
    Computer literacy
    Fluency in English is an asset.
