Subject: Expression of Interest for Potential Partnership -
International Medical Corps (IMC)

International Medical Corps (IMC), an international humanitarian, non-profit and non-governmental organization is
seeking to establish partnerships with local civil society organizations registered in Cameroon who are also
responding to the refugee crisis in the East, Adamawa and North (EAN) regions. IMC is currently seeking for
partnership two organizations that have demonstrated experience developing and managing complex programs in
the field of Protection, related to both gender-based violence (GBV) and assistance for people with specific needs
(PSN). These organizations should also demonstrate capacity in the areas of livelihoods, and community outreach.

With these partnerships, we aim to expand our reach and effectiveness working alongside other organizations that
share our vision and commitment to making a difference in the following areas:

1. Protection (GBV): Partnerships in this area would involve prevention and response to gender-based
violence, referrals, community engagement, and community outreach for female empowerment;
2. Protection (PSN): Partnerships in this area would involve developing program activities to include and reach
out to people with specific needs;
3. Livelihoods: Partnerships in this area would focus on soft skills development and entrepreneurship
programs, particularly in the Istanbul region, with an emphasis on working with refugee communities.
This open call invites relevant organizations to express their interest in partnering with us. To be eligible for
consideration, organization should satisfy the following criteria:
1. Be a registered local civil society organization in Cameroon with a legal entity;
2. Demonstrate relevant expertise and experience in protection (GBV and/or PSN) and livelihood sectors;
3. Possess knowledge and understanding of the local EAN context, challenges, and needs of the target
beneficiaries or communities;
4. Showcase sound financial management practices (i.e., more sophisticated than Excel) and demonstrate the
ability to manage complex grants and contracts effectively;
5. Have a track record of successful partnership with other organizations or stakeholders;
6. Show commitment to ethical and transparent practices in all aspects of their operations;

7. Have previous experience working with UN agencies (desirable)

Interested organizations are requested to send an email to Cameroon@InternationalMedicalCorps.org to submit a
brief Expression of Interest – EoI outlining their background, key areas of expertise, and how they envision the
partnership contributing to the advancement of our shared objectives. The subject of your email should indicate the
area of your interest. For example, “EoI Protection including GBV & assistance to person with specific need” or “EoI
Livelihood.” All the Expressions of Interest should be sent to International Medical Corps by Monday October 23
rd,2023.
We encourage all eligible organizations to participate in the open call and help us create a collective impact that
goes beyond the sum of our individual efforts. Shortlisted organizations will be invited to participate in further
discussions to explore partnership possibilities in more detail.
