OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
La mission du Programme d’urgences sanitaires de l’OMS consiste à bâtir les capacités des Etats membres à gérer les risques d’urgences sanitaires et, lorsque les capacités nationales sont débordées, à diriger et à coordonner la réponse sanitaire internationale afin de contenir les épidémies et de fournir une aide et un rétablissement efficaces aux populations affectées.

La direction de la gestion et de l’administration du Programme d’interventions sanitaires d’urgence est chargée de la gestion efficace et du soutien administratif du programme d’urgences, et s’assure que les interventions d’urgence de l’OMS sont promptement et durablement financées et pourvues en personnel. Cette direction offre des services administratifs prévisibles et de qualité (ressources humaines, finances, planification du travail, subventions) au Programme d’urgence, y compris pendant les interventions d’urgence et assure le suivi efficace des (et conformément aux) procédures normales d’exploitation (PNE), permettant une amélioration permanente et une excellente gestion des activités.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
1. Conduire tout véhicule officiellement affecté à la représentation de l’OMS en général et veiller à son bon état de marche ; 2.Assurer la propreté et l’entretien régulier du véhicule ; 3.Conduire le staff ou technicien dans sa région d’affectation et hors région ou besoin sera pour nécessité de service ; 4.Aviser son superviseur en temps opportun de l’état (critique ou pas) du véhicule et des accessoires, c’est-à-dire, contrôler quotidiennement l’état des véhicules du bureau, surveiller les travaux effectués dans les garages, assurer la propreté et le bon état de marche des véhicules ; 5.Assurer les diverses courses nécessaires pour les besoins de service (banque, dépôt ou retrait du courrier, retrait billets de voyage ou autres documents, etc…) ; 6.Accueillir ou accompagner le personnel de l’OMS, y compris les consultants et/ou conseillers temporaires en mission officielle dans le pays ; 7.Aviser l’administration de tout déplacement en dehors des heures normales de travail et des jours fériés ; 8.Informer l’unité de communication de toutes les sorties sur le terrain et s’assurer que le matériel de communication à bord est fonctionnel ; 9.S’assurer que les étapes exigées par la réglementation des Nations Unies en matière de sécurité routière ont été suivies en cas d’accident ; 10.S’acquitter d’autres taches selon les besoins.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: Au moins le premier cycle de l’enseignement secondaire et un permis de conduire en cours de validité
Desirable: Un diplôme de mécanicien serait un atout.

Experience
Essential: Au moins deux années d’expérience comme chauffeur  avec un bilan positif.
Desirable: Une expérience avec le système des Nations Unies serait un Atout


Skills
1.Maîtrise des règles de la conduite du pays et aptitude à effectuer des réparations mineures sur le véhicule; 2.Aptitude à lire, à écrire et à comprendre la langue de travail ; 3.Aptitude à rédiger des rapports d’accidents concis et fidèles.

REMUNERATION
WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XAF 5,699,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
