As part of it's expansion in the South West, particularly in Limbe and Kumba, MIFED / ICS (Solidarity Credit institution operating since 2007 in Garoua, Maroua and Ngoundere in the North of Cameroon) lunches the recruitment of two (2) branch managers .
Mission and functions of the Branch Manager:
Reporting to the regional manager, the branch manager's mission is to oversee the launch of field activities of the zone, in the management, monitoring, control and development . To this end, he/she will be primarily responsible of: - Participating in the recruitment and mentoring of loan officers; - Monitoring of savings and loan operations; - Monitoring of the management of loan portfolio and overdue laons; - Monitor the training of group members and the memebrs of their governance organce; - Ensure the administration of the branch; - Ensure budgetary and financial management; - Report on the progress of activities; - Participate in institutional development.
Desired profile The candidate(s) for this position must: - Be a Cameroonian; - Age between 30 and 40 years; - Have a university qualification; Master's degree level; - Have professional experience of at least three years in operations and organization in a Microfinance Institution; - Have professional experience of at least one year in financial management; - Or have a diploma qualification with over 3 years experience in operation and in a Microfinance Institution and 3 years in financial management - Commonly use computer software such as Word and Excel; - Proficiency in the local language of the duty station and know the local culture; - Be fluent in the English language.
Duty station and date of taking up office - The duty stations are based in Limbe and Kumba - The candidate should be available no later than 1st October 2016
