We are looking for an experienced technical sales based in Cameroon / Kumba to develop our market share & promote BASF crop protection products In the West of Cameroon.
What you can expect
Create demand for BASF Crop Protection offerings
Establish demos and conduct field days across the region for increased Knowledge and penetration of BASF brands and solutions.
Build working relationship with various stakeholder across the region to promote the brands and increase market share.
Promoting the company within the farms of Anglophone region and also in others regions when needed.
Plan routine visits under coverage for business development.
Working with farmers group across major crop segment to promote product knowledge and stimulate demand.
Participate in major trade or Agric exhibitions in the region to foster product awareness and business opportunity.
Market linkage for major partner as distributors
Understand the customer needs and communicating potential opportunities
Regular visits to the trade for business information, product performance and inventory levels
Provide training support for small- holders farmers groups on safe usage of BASF brands.
Conduct product trainings to potential customers, large or small scale farm owners to increase product demand.
Compliance to BASF code of conduct and other policies.
Effective and judicious utilization of resources in achieving company business growth.
What we expect :
A bachelor degree in agro-economy or marketing & sales.
Applicants with Marketing/sales with agricultural background knowledge has higher consideration.
You have already gained experience in sales/account executive with at least 1 year in the agricultural industry.
Strong Knowledge of Cameroon agriculture environment or related field
Technical knowledge in crop protection products
Good management of demo and trials per set protocol
Result oriented and ability to work with minimum supervision
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable using excel and PowerPoint for Presentation
Fluency in English
Driving License category B, 3 years of driving at least
Ready to travel
