The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining
the cleanliness Creative’s offices and office
compound in Maroua clean and maintained,
and providing support
for other administration
and operations tasks,
including making coffee and tea for Creative
staff and visitors, photocopying documents,
and distributing files among staff as
requested. This position will be based in the
Maroua office.

Human Resources & Administration Officer

Primary responsibilities include but are not
limited to the following:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanness of
the interior of the office including windows,
desks, computers, photocopiers etc.
Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of the
office. As requested slash the grass and
weed the compound and support casual
laborers to maintain the compound.
Clean and disinfects bathroom: sinks,
countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and
Sweep, mop, vacuum, floors using brooms,
mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor work
may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing
and polishing floors.
Clean and disinfect kitchen: sinks,
countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.
Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered
furniture, using vacuum cleaner.
Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.

Wash walls and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, partitions, sills,
Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and
transport to disposal area.
Support the HR & Admin Officer to ensure
sufficient quantities of bathroom and cleaning
supplies are available at all times and
avoiding waste.
Prepare coffee and tea and meals when
requested for staff and local partners.
Request office consumables and have them
reviewed and approved by the HR & Admin
Officer and HR & Admin Manager prior to
Assist in keeping the store, warehouse, and
stock closets organized and assist the HR &
Admin Officer and Procurement & Logistics
Officer to take stock of office supplies.
Review stock and prepare requests for
cleaning products to be reviewed and
approved by the HR & Admin Officer.
Ensure that cleaning products and supplies
for the kitchen (coffee, tea, and milk, and
sugar) and bathrooms are available at all
Inform HR & Admin Officer of any needs for
office supplies such as drinking water,
bathroom supplies, etc.
Inform HR & Admin Officer of any office
repairs which need to be done.
Assist in organizing and preparing the office
for meetings.
Assist the HR & Admin Officer with filing.
Assist Creative team members with
photocopying, scanning, and filing time
Accompany and direct visitors to the
appropriate staff offices.
Any other duties and tasks as needed and

Primary education required.
High School Diploma desired.
Prior experience working as a cleaner for an
international organization desired.
Written and spoken fluency in French is
Fluency in one or more of the local state
languages in the Northern part of Cameroon
is preferred.
