OVERVIEW

Description
As the Mechanical Foreman Heavy Earth Moving Machinery, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of our heavy earth moving machinery at various construction sites. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities
Supervise and guide a team of mechanics and technicians in performing maintenance and repair tasks on heavy earth moving machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure the availability of spare parts and equipment required for maintenance and repair.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of machinery.
Train and mentor junior mechanics and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of parts used and repairs completed.
Requirements
Proven 5 years experience as a Mechanical Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of heavy earth moving machinery and their maintenance requirements.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
