Médecins du Monde Suisse (MdM-CH) in Cameroon is looking for an individual consultant or a team of consultants to carry out a mid-term evaluation of its project. " Strengthening the protection of vulnerable populations in the North-West and West regions of Cameroon "

The skills required for the mission are:

- At least 5 years of higher education in social sciences or human rights

- Additional training in gender and development, project evaluation or results-based management would be an advantage

- At least 3 years' experience in coordinating GBV initiatives

- Experience of working with government agencies, local and international NGOs and financial partners

- Demonstrate knowledge of the region/localities where the project will be implemented, particularly the Northwest (experience of working in the Northwest region on GBV would be a strong asset)

- Have conducted at least two (02) evaluations of women's protection or women's rights projects as lead consultant, including at least one (01) on a GBV project

- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)

Applicants are invited to submit a complete file of between 10 and 15 pages (excluding CVs) via email to: <serviceslog.cameroun@medecinsdumonde.ch> with the subject line "Mid-term evaluation / Project CM07-Phase III". Applications filed in any other manner will not be taken into consideration. The file is considered complete if it includes the following 3 elements:

1. Technical proposal including:

- An understanding of the terms of reference

- The technical approach developed and the detailed methodology

- Details regarding team members, how responsibilities are shared between them, the CVs proposed and the availability of the team members as well as the legal status of the members of the consultancy team and/or evaluation firm to which the consultant(s) belongs

- The provisional calendar for the mission and an estimate of charges per person, per day

- References from 2 similar projects previously completed.

2. Financial proposal including:

- The total budget (inc. VAT)

- A detailed itemised breakdown (inc. VAT) of the budget

3. Sworn statement confirming (the absence of) any conflicts of interest.
