INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER H/F Position based in Douala
ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, and managing complex Infrastructure systems that underpin the company services. As an Infrastructure Engineer, he will be responsible for ensuring that the digital services, network, and servers' infrastructures are robust, efficient, and scalable to meet the growing demands of the business.
MAIN TASKS
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of servers, networks, and other infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and development initiatives.
• Implement configuration management tools to automate provisioning of infrastructure.
• Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure systems to identify and mitigate risks.
PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, specifically within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
• Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
 Fluency in English & French business communication.
