WE ARE RECRUITING FOR THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SECTOR:
ONE (01) SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGEMENT EXPERT - INFLIGHT TECHNOLOGY Position based in Douala
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• To effectively manage the transition of inflight technology projects (IT and core network) from delivery into operational service management, ensuring minimal disruption, adherence to service management best practices, and a seamless handover to operational support teams.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Develop and implement comprehensive service transition plans for inflight technology projects.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with transitioning new services and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure new services are designed to meet operational requirements, including supportability, maintainability, and scalability. Participate in service validation and testing activities.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer from project teams to operational support teams. Develop and deliver training materials.
• Ensure that complete and accurate service documentation is created and maintained for all transitioned services.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of service transition processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across project delivery, operations, and the business.
• Provide regular updates and reports on transition progress to stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification (preferred).
• Proven experience in a Service Transition Management role, with a focus on technology projects.
• Strong understanding of service management best practices, particularly in relation to service transition.
• Experience with inflight technology systems (IT and core network) is highly desirable.
