The Opportunity

 This position is responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation, technical leadership planning initiatives, monitoring, evaluation, research and dissemination in the context of IRISH-AIDS respective project implementation for assistance to Refugees, IDPs and host communities in the Far North Region of Cameroon specially in the Logone and Chari, Mayo Tsanaga and Mayo Sava division. As Monitoring and Evluation Officer, you will also strengthen the project technical team and will provide technical support to the Project Coordinator, communities and other partners. You will co-ordinate closely with the Project Coordinator, the PIIA MERL Coordinator and other Emergency Response Team members and Plan International staff, especially monitoring & evaluation management, to improve program quality and effectiveness of the current response/project as well as any future recovery activities.

The Individual

 We are looking to recruit a diploma in Monitoring and evaluation or university diploma in social sciences, statistics. As Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will have a relevant professional experience in the Monitoring Evaluation, Researched and Learning, a solid experience in the conduct of qualitative and quantitative survey, a good editorial capacity (capacity of drafting of reports), a master of standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...) and a practical and relevant experience in the interventions in emergency contexts.
