Job Description

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

The Graduate Finance will support the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with policies, and efficient financial management. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)

The Graduate Finance   will be accountable to the following objectives:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
    Support budget preparation and variance analysis;
    Help reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    Process invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions;
    Follow up on receivables and payables to ensure timely settlements.

Compliance & Auditing:

    Ensure adherence to company policies and local financial regulations;
    Assist in internal and external audit preparations.

Administrative Support:

    Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records;
    Support procurement and inventory management processes.

Other Duties:

    Participate in finance-related projects and process improvements;
    Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team as required.

    Qualifications

Job Requirements: (Education, Experience and Competencies)

Education:

    Minimum 3 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

    Newly qualified Finance Graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships included);
    Experience in Telecom industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software;
    Basic understanding of financial principles and reporting standards.

Soft Skills:

    Strong analytical and organizational skills;
    Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
    Good communication and teamwork abilities;
    Language: Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
