Actions Against Hunger is an International Non Governmental Organization (NGO), apolitical,
non denominational and non-profit. For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for:
ARCHIVIST INTERN M/F
Base: Kumba (south west region)
Number of positions : 1
Contract duration: 3 months
start date: August 2025
supervised by: HR and Finance Senior Officer
Location : Kumba
1. Purpose and Delivery:
The Archivist intern will provide professional support to the HR and Finance
department.
The Archivist Intern will be trained to ensure that he/she is acquainted with the
HR and Finance skills, standards, and procedures.
The Archivist Intern will work under the technical and managerial
directives/supervision of the HR and Finance Senior Officer
2. Essential job duties and main objective
The Archivist intern will provide support to the HR/Finance department, especially on the South
West Base while upgrading his/her skills and competencies in HR and Finance.
3. Responsibilities:
Collection, sorting, classification and storage of personnel files, employment
contracts, pay slips, certificates.
Coding, filing and scanning of HR and finance documents according to defined
standards and criteria
Digitization, reproduction and saving of documents on physical or digital media
(Homere and NHF)
Participation in the implementation and improvement of the archiving system, by
proposing technical, organizational or innovative solutions
4. Reporting.
As instructed by the line manager, weekly prepare activity reports
DIPLOMA/EXPERIENCE :
Diploma / Level of studies: Bacc + 2 in Human Resources or social sciences or
any related field not more than 18 months
Knowledge of the humanitarian context in Cameroon is an asset
Knowledge of the principles of archiving, particularly digital archiving
Description and classification techniques
REQUIRED SKILLS :

Good communication, feedback of information and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and show discretion
Have a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality
Mastery of tools and techniques for processing, preserving and communicating archives

PROCEDURE
