Job Description: Sales Apprentice
Company: Grassland Association for Agriculture and Development (GAAD)
Reports to: Sales Consultant
Location: Douala, Cameroon
Compensation: 60,000 xaf
Duration: 6 months
Who We Are

several years. Our goal is to enable farmers to increase their productivity, access markets and ensure
that their production is properly managed after harvest.
What We Do
We are a food storage, drying, and distribution company that sources products from smallholder
farmers, whom we support during the season with input loans and training, so that they can be more
productive. We transform the farmers' produce into standardized, graded products that we sell across
the country to buyers who can be sure of the quality they receive.
About the Role
The Sales Apprentice will assist the Sales Consultant in showcasing our product and boosting sales
of the product at specific supermarkets/malls.
Responsibilities and Duties, but not limited to:
The Sales Apprentice shall perform the following duties for the Company:
● Prospecting and sales: B2B and B2G
● Participating in the development of marketing and business development strategies
● Assisting in obtaining competitive intelligence
● Sales force coaching.
● Participating in organizing other company events, including trade fairs and exhibitions
● Sending daily reports to the direct Supervisor
●
Qualification:
● Be a sales and marketing student or a recent graduate of a university or any other
accredited higher institute
● Available to work for a period from 8 am to 8 pm
Skills required:
● Fundamental disposition: loves sales and engaging with people
● Goal-oriented team player who pays attention to details
● Respectful, humble, and ready to learn
● Be fluent in French and/or English and can communicate in the other language
