About InDesign Arts InDesign Arts is Cameroon’s premier web development, digital marketing, and software development company, headquartered in Douala. We specialize in building innovative digital solutions — including custom mobile apps, modern websites, UI/UX design, graphic design, API development, DevOps, cloud solutions, and tailored software products — to empower startups, mid-size businesses, and enterprises.
We are an award-winning agency known for delivering high-quality software on time and on budget. At InDesign Arts, we combine creative design excellence with advanced technology to drive real business growth for our clients in Cameroon and beyond.
Role Overview InDesign Arts is seeking a motivated bilingual intern to join our team for a 3-month hands-on internship in Business Development and Marketing within the software sector. You will assist in building client pipelines, contribute to product-related tasks, and develop professional skills such as public speaking in a dynamic software environment. This is a practical learning opportunity where you will be actively involved in meaningful work rather than just observing.
Key Responsibilities You will participate in the following activities as part of the client acquisition and product team:
- Support daily prospecting efforts, including outreach via phone, email, in-person meetings, and networking to help build and maintain a steady flow of potential clients.
- Assist in identifying and engaging high-profile clients by researching targets and contributing to tailored approaches.
- Take part in rigorous product testing, providing clear and honest feedback to help improve our software offerings.
- Contribute to the planning, preparation, and execution of product launches.
- Practice and apply public speaking skills by supporting client presentations, pitches, and meetings.
- Help with a range of marketing and consulting tasks as needed to support the overall process of closing deals and delivering value to clients.
This internship involves real contributions to client-focused work. While you will receive guidance and training, you will be expected to take initiative and handle assigned tasks professionally.
The Team You will work directly with the marketing, business development, and product teams at InDesign Arts. Our environment emphasizes practical results, collaboration, and continuous learning in the fast-paced software sector.
