CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

Role Overview

CIMARA COMPANY LTD is seeking a highly organized and dependable Construction Site Manager to oversee the management of construction materials, site logistics, inventory control, and daily site coordination. The successful candidate will ensure that materials are available when needed, properly stored, accurately recorded, and efficiently distributed to support project activities.

The Site Manager will work closely with project engineers, procurement personnel, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth operations and minimize material shortages, wastage, and delays.

Key Responsibilities

Materials Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify all materials delivered to the construction site.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, transfers, and balances.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of materials requiring replenishment.
• Ensure proper storage and protection of materials to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.

Site Logistics & Coordination

• Coordinate the movement and distribution of materials to various work areas.
• Ensure materials are available to site teams according to project requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams regarding deliveries and shortages.
• Monitor loading, unloading, and handling of construction materials.

Inventory Control & Reporting

• Maintain detailed inventory records using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material consumption reports.
• Track material usage and identify excessive consumption or wastage.
• Support management with data required for project planning and procurement decisions.

Site Administration

• Maintain organized records of delivery notes, invoices, stock registers, and material requests.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for material handling and documentation.
• Assist in coordinating site activities and resource allocation.

Loss Prevention & Accountability

• Monitor site assets and construction materials to prevent losses.
• Investigate discrepancies in stock records and report findings promptly.
• Implement effective control measures to improve accountability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Degree, HND, BTS, or Diploma in Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in site management, materials management, warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, or construction operations.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience maintaining inventory and stock records.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and analyze material consumption.
• Good understanding of construction materials and site operations.

Personal Competencies

Languages
