CIMARA COMPANY LTD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to support the planning, execution, and supervision of construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure that all site activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Ensure proper workmanship and adherence to project quality standards.

Technical Support

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist in conducting site measurements, inspections, and setting out works.
• Support the Senior Engineer in resolving technical issues encountered on site.

Project Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Assist in updating project documentation and filing technical records.

Quality Control

• Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Report defects or non-conforming works to the Senior Engineer.
• Assist in implementing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.

Health & Safety

• Ensure all workers comply with company safety policies and site regulations.
• Participate in routine safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction or engineering projects (internship experience is an added advantage).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, and Excel).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites when required.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English and or French.
