We are looking for a creative, organised and results-focused marketer who can turn digital communication into visibility, engagement, qualified leads and measurable business growth.
ROLE PURPOSE
Plan and execute digital marketing and community engagement activities for VTC and its clients. The successful candidate will combine research, content creation, campaign management and performance analysis to strengthen brands, promote products and services, and generate potential customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Research target audiences, competitors, market trends and relevant content opportunities.
•    Develop practical monthly/weekly content plans and digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
•    Manage VTC and assigned client social media pages; schedule posts and maintain a consistent brand voice.
•    Create engaging graphics, short-form videos, reels and other digital content using tools such as Canva, Photoshop and CapCut.
•    Plan, launch, monitor and optimise paid advertising campaigns, subject to approved budgets and permissions.
•    Support lead generation, customer enquiries, community engagement and timely follow-up with the relevant sales team.
•    Update website pages, product/service information, blog content and basic on-page SEO elements.
•    Use analytics and AI tools responsibly to research, create, improve and report on marketing activities.
•    Track and report results such as reach, engagement, enquiries, qualified leads, campaign spend and conversions where data is available.
•    Coordinate with management, sales and technical teams; protect client information and follow brand and approval processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
•    HND/BTS or higher in Marketing, Communication, Business/Management or a related field.
•    Relevant training or certification in digital marketing, social media marketing or community management.
•    Previous professional experience in digital marketing or a closely related role, with examples of actual work.
•    Fluent in both English and French, with strong written communication and proofreading skills.
•    Practical ability to create social media graphics and edit short videos using Canva and/or Photoshop and CapCut or equivalent tools.
•    Working knowledge of social media page management, paid advertising, website content management and basic SEO.
•    Understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, lead generation, campaign measurement and reporting.
•    Comfortable using digital analytics and AI tools thoughtfully, while checking accuracy and respecting privacy.
•    Organised, creative, proactive, reliable, receptive to feedback and able to meet deadlines.
WORK ARRANGEMENT & ELIGIBILITY
•    This is an on-site role based in Biyemassi, Yaoundé; remote work is not offered for this position.
•    Applicants must live in Yaoundé or be able to commute reliably, preferably from Biyemassi or nearby areas.
•    Applicants must own a functional laptop suitable for content creation and digital marketing work.
•    Applicants must be available during the stated daytime working hours from Monday to Saturday. Daytime students who cannot commit to the schedule should not apply; evening students may apply if fully available during work hours.
•    Candidates should be prepared to complete a practical assessment and discuss their portfolio, campaign results or real work samples during recruitment.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Performance will be assessed against agreed objectives, which may include consistency and quality of content, brand growth, audience engagement, qualified enquiries/leads, campaign efficiency, website updates and accurate reporting. Targets and available advertising budgets will be clarified with the successful candidate.
