Position Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and seamless user experience of our digital products. This role is strictly aligned to support and elevate the Striving For All digital platforms.
Core Responsibilities & Activities

    Recurring Testing & QA: Execute test cycles across the appropriate test environments to maintain continuous platform stability and performance.
    Website & Application Testing: Conduct comprehensive cross-browser and cross-device testing. Evaluate user interfaces for responsiveness, usability, and accessibility across all targeted form factors.
    Defect Management: Identify bugs and document them meticulously with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs. Assign severity and priority levels, and track each issue through to resolution alongside the development team.
    Release Validation: Perform rigorous regression, integration, and smoke testing prior to all production deployments. Ensure new features function perfectly without degrading existing capabilities, providing QA findings and a release readiness recommendation while production checks are approved post-deployment validations.

Tools & Methodologies

    Methodologies: Agile/Scrum QA integration, Continuous Testing within CI/CD pipelines, and behavior-driven development (BDD).
    Tracking & Management: Jira for issue tracking, Confluence for documentation, and tools like TestRail or Zephyr for test case management.
    Testing Tools: Postman for API testing, Chrome DevTools for front-end inspection, and frameworks like Cypress or Selenium for automated UI testing.

Expected Deliverables

    Comprehensive test plans and test cases mapped directly to product requirements.
    Detailed defect reports and bug tracking metrics.
    Automated test scripts for critical, high-traffic user journeys.
    Pre-release QA sign-off reports and post-deployment health check summaries.

Required Qualifications
Experience

    3+ years in software QA, with a strong track of testing dynamic web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills

    Proficiency in building automated test scripts, manual exploratory testing, API testing (REST/GraphQL), and a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Tool Mastery

    Hands-on experience with Jira, Git, and modern CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Soft Skills

    Meticulous attention to detail, analytical problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to developers and stakeholders.

Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience. ISTQB certification is a strong plus.
