Job Objectives

 

To ensure accuracy of entries into all of the company’s financial accounts, including portfolio and mutual fund accounts.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

Ensure processes for monitoring budget are monitored and properly implemented.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with the Bank’s and regulatory accepted policies and procedures
Ensure all accounts are appropriately mapped and reporting to the right GL
Implements the approved procedure for management and reporting of journal entries for the different managed portfolios of the organization.
Responsible for partnering with the investment department in the investment of company funds.
Constant review of the expense, revenue and other components of the annual budget to determine the accurate financial position at all times.
Weekly and monthly analytical reviews on key income and expense heads.
Responsible for preparing all financial regulatory reports in the country office.

Qualification required:   

 

A first Degree in Accounting,
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or applicable accounting certification within country will be an added advantage
 

Experience required:

 

Minimum of 2 years accounting work experience
