ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– To process transactions in line with approved bank’s SLA/TAT.
– To ensure compliance with the banks’ procedures and regulatory guidelines is observed in transaction processing activities
– To ensure that Outgoing remittances/LCs/Documentary Collections/Foreign drafts, are attended to and posted on time, as per SLT/TAT.
– Impacting right nostros, and right accounts debited, approved rates by Treasury.
 
Service Management
– Initiates all outward remittances received from branches  within agreed TAT and relay for verification
– Respond to daily  correspondent inquiry including  unapplied transactions investigations, tracers and responses from all correspondents
– Responding to all reconciliation suspense’s requiring his attention
– Receiving customers and troubleshooting client difficulties including delivery of swift messages to customers daily.
– Responding to inquiries from branches and ensuring a smooth process flow.
– Forward the daily pending transfers to all the branches.
– Forward the daily pending transfers dealt to treasury/audit team.
– Ensure desk area is kept clean, systems shut down and confidential/security documents locked away in safe places
– Ensure That All Documents Submitted for Processing Are Recorded in Registers on a daily basis and that all registers are duly updated at all times.
– Processing of LC/DC/EDC/GT and other trade related transactions in line with agreed SLA
– Any other duties can be assigned to You at any point in time

– Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
– Industry specific certifications
 

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience with at least two (2) years spent in Operations.
