Cameroon

Impact Santé Afrique (ISA) is an African non-governmental organization led and coordinated
by women. ISA specializes in advocacy and strategic communication, with the main objective
of contributing to the improvement of the health of populations. Our mission is to strengthen
local civil society and empower affected communities to improve quality health services and
end malaria. As for our vision, we want to see all communities resilient and empowered to
lead healthy lives in a malaria-free Africa with people-centered health services that are
accessible, equitable and affordable to all.
In 2022, the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) and its national and international
partners have launched a national movement called "STOP MALARIA", with the theme
"Women and children at the heart of the fight. #Let's act now", under the patronage of the
First Lady, Chantal Biya. The aim of the campaign is to mobilise leaders from all sectors in
the fight against malaria.
As part of the implementation of a multi-sectoral collaboration between the Ministry of
Public Health and key ministries (the Ministry of Communication, the Ministry of Finance,
the Ministry of Basic Education, etc.) in the fight against malaria, ISA in collaboration with
the PNLP is looking for an exceptional consultant for rapid assessment on multisectoral
advocacy for Malaria in Cameroon who will be able to carry out a study of the ministries
and their health units. He/she will also be able to draft an advocacy document for
multisectoral commitment to the fight against malaria.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: between 05 October and 05 December 2023
• Carry out a brief analysis of health and malaria programs/interventions via a
document review and data collection from the targeted ministerial structures (at
least 7) in the city of Yaoundé, Submit the inventory report for review before it is
finalized.
• Draft an advocacy document for multi-sectoral involvement in the fight against
malaria and its impact, targeting the 7 key ministries.
• Propose a technical bid, including a timetable and financial bid (consultation and
travel costs only).
• Deliverables in either French or English.

• Have access to ministerial structures
• Experience in developing this type of advocacy document
• Experience/knowledge of inter-ministerial cooperation relations or collaboration
• Excellent writing and speaking skills both in English or French;
