The Goethe-Institut is looking for a facilitator for executive and administrative tasks in the cities of Yaoundé and Maroua as part of the Think Professional! project.
About the think professional!
Since 2019, the Goethe-Institut Kamerun has been running the project think-professional!, which enables young students in seconde and première classes to gain work experience as early as possible through minimum 04-week work placements in companies. The aim is to give them a realistic idea of the professional world and help them acquire the necessary skills and aptitudes to guide them in their educational and career choices.
Job description
- Planning, organising and carrying out administrative tasks for seminars with partners/students in the stated cities
- Managing transport and catering costs for events in these cities
- Write event reports and documentation with photos
- Communicate with the project coordinator and participate in the monthly Think Professional! team meetings.
RequirementsUniversity studies (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- Good knowledge of French and English; knowledge of German would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of information technology (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, how to create a Gmail or Yahoo email address, etc.)
- Enjoy working with students and in a team environment
- Good communicative, social and intercultural skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
