Established in Cameroon, since 2013, Médecins du Monde Switzerland (MdM-CH) implements several projects for the benefit of vulnerable populations in the West, North-West and Central regions. To do so, the organization relies on a qualified human resource made up of national and expatriate staff working mostly full-time on its projects.
It makes a significant contribution to the socio-professional integration of young graduates by periodically taking on interns in its various departments. These internships, governed by an internship agreement, follow a dual approach:
1) To contribute to the socio-professional integration of young people by strengthening their operational capacities.
2) Increase the functional capacity of the mission team by providing support on specific tasks.
To this end, the organization is looking for an intern for its Bamenda office, to work in its support department.
The intern will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Administrative management support
· Support operations in the drafting and management of administrative correspondence.
· Ensure proper archiving of administrative documents in compliance with the organization's procedures.
· Support the process of establishing/renewing service provider contracts.
· Provide support for the preparation and implementation of audits.
Support for logistics management
· Draw up requests for quotations, purchase orders, etc.
· Follow up orders and receive goods in strict compliance with MdM-CH logistics and administrative procedures.
· Support the supplier listing process.
· Coordinate and organize any transport of goods.
· Support the process of contracting, monitoring, and paying external service providers.
· Participate in weekly team meetings.
PROFILE
1- QUALIFICATIONS, LEVEL OF EDUCATION
§ Bachelor’s degree in the fields of logistics and business management.
2- KEY SKILLS:
§ Organized, rigorous, dynamic, versatile and autonomous.
§ Honesty and integrity, with a sense of confidentiality,
§ Perfect command of the Microsoft pack (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
