We are a relatively new healthcare facility in Yaoundé with a vision to provide modern and quality healthcare services in compliance with international standards. We are seeking a 2 highly skilled and compassionate Nurses to join our dynamic medical team at our Medical Center. As a Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support, alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
3. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor patient responses, and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record system, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
6. Assist in the coordination and scheduling of patient appointments, tests, and procedures, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
7. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health and well-being.
8. Foster a warm and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring all interactions are conducted with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
9. Collaborate with peers to create a positive and cohesive team culture, working together to deliver exceptional patient care.
10. Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and medical advancements to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
1. State Registered Nurse diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSc in Nursing) from an accredited nursing program.
2. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a medical clinic or similar healthcare setting.
3. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and people skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
5. A strong team player with exceptional team spirit, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
6. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation, medication administration, and treatment delivery.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both French and English.
8. Polite, neat, and composed, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
9. Highly organized, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10. Supportive and empathetic, actively listening to patients and addressing their concerns and needs.
11. Demonstrate exceptional nursing care skills, incorporating evidence-based practices into daily clinical practice.
