Location: Serenity Medical Center, Yaounde.

Position: Agent Commercial / Sales Representative

Number of positions: Two (2)

Report to: Chief Operations Officer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking proactive and results-driven Sales Representatives to drive patient referrals from general practitioners and medical specialists to our medical center. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying opportunities for business growth, and collaborating with the clinical and operations teams to implement effective marketing strategies. They will also play a key role in the execution of marketing campaigns to promote the services and specialties offered by the medical center.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Relationship Building and Physician Engagement:

   - Meet with general practitioners and medical specialists to establish and nurture professional relationships.

   - Educate healthcare professionals on the range of services, specialties, and facilities available at the medical center.

   - Discuss the benefits of collaborating with the medical center to refer and consult patients, highlighting the quality of care and expertise offered.

 

2. Patient Referral and Prospection:

   - Identify opportunities and propose areas of prospection for patient referrals, considering the medical center's specialties and clinical expertise.

   - Proactively seek out potential referral sources and establish networks with healthcare providers to expand the referral base.

   - Engage in strategic discussions with healthcare professionals to explore new referral channels and promote the benefits of patient consultations at the medical center.

 

3. Collaboration with the Clinical and Operations Team:

   - Work closely with the clinical and operations teams to develop and implement effective marketing strategies aimed at increasing patient referrals.

   - Provide insights and feedback to the clinical team to align services with the needs of referring physicians and their patients.

   - Collaborate with the operations team to ensure streamlined referral processes and seamless patient experiences.

 

4. Marketing Campaign Implementation:

   - Participate in the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to promote the medical center's services and specialties.

   - Contribute to the creation of promotional materials, events, and initiatives to attract new patient referrals.

   - Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, based on feedback and market trends.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in sales; experience in medical sales is an advantage but not required

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals, build relationships, and convey the value of the medical center's services.

- Initiative and proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for business growth and patient referral expansion.

- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including clinical and operations departments, to align strategies and achieve common goals.

- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment

- Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, manage relationships, and follow up effectively with healthcare professionals.

 

The Sales Representative will operate in both office and field settings, engaging with healthcare professionals in their practices, medical facilities, and at medical conferences or events. The role will require flexibility in work hours to accommodate meetings with physicians and specialists.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships with referring physicians, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the development and execution of targeted marketing strategies to promote the medical center's services and specialties.
