Cameroon Mining is a leading company in the mining industry, with operations across Africa. We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and oversee our accounting and financial operations.

 As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

•  Preparing and publishing timely and accurate financial statements and reports

 •  Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls

 •  Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards

 •  Managing the budgeting and forecasting process and providing financial analysis and advice to senior management

 •  Supervising and mentoring the accounting staff and ensuring their professional development

 •  Liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other stakeholders

 To be successful in this role, you should have:

 •  A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

 •  At least 5 years of proven experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role in the mining industry

 •  A professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA

•  Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software

 •  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

 •  Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

 •  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
