Term of reference for the recruitment of one (01) Supervisor for the implementation of the activities of the HIV-TB prevention component of GC7 aimed at Sex Workers and their Clients (TS/CTS)
Context
Cameroon is a beneficiary of the Global Fund grant as part of the implementation of the project "Acceleration of HIV prevention to contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality linked to HIV and tuberculosis by 2026 under the grant "CMR-C-CARE CAMEROUN" where CARE International in Cameroon (CARE) was selected by the National Coordinating Body of Cameroon (ICN) to act as Principal Recipient (PR) of the Civil Society/Component community.
The main objectives of the project contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality linked to HIV, the mitigation of the social and economic burden of HIV on the development of the country and facilitate access to diagnosis and treatment of all forms tuberculosis including prevention to end the global tuberculosis epidemic.
To ensure the implementation of this ambitious program, Care and Heath Program (CHP) was recruited as Sub- Recipient of CARE International in Cameroon, for its experience, competence and ability to work and provide assistance to Workers. Of Sex and their Clients:
HUMFRIEH was recruited as Sub-Sub-Recipient byCare and Heath Program (CHP) for the implementation of this program in Buea Health District, for its experience, competence and ability to work and provide assistance to Sex Workers and their Clients (TS/CTS). To this end, she was made responsible for the implementation of community interventions to combat HIV in the city of BUEA.
The project aims to implement HIV and tuberculosis prevention actions within the community of sex workers and their clients, as part of the GC7 Program. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising field activities.
II- Main Responsibilities:
O.tersee the implementation of HIV-TB prevention activities in accordance with established action plans.
Coordinate teams in the field and monitor performance indicators.
Ensure the quality of interventions and compliance with established protocols.
Contribute to the development of activity reports and monitoring-evaluation plans. Liaise with partners and stakeholders involved in the project.
Required profile:
Advanced Level or any equivalent certificate
Relevant experience in supervising community health projects, preferably related to HIV-TB.
Good knowledge of issues related to sexual health, HIV and TB.
Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and manage complex situations. Mastery of IT tools and data collection and analysis methods.
