TBIS is looking to hire seeking Dedicated and Enthusiastic Teachers to join our dynamic team to join starting from August 2024. Applicants must have a teaching qualification and specialisation in their field of teaching and/or at least three successful years of teaching in a primary/secondary school environment. They must be able to embody the school’s Mission, Vision, and Motto at all times. They should be optimistic, open-minded, collaborative, kind, and reflective about their own practice and how it can better meet the academic and personal needs of each student, consistent with the school’s dedicated approach to personalized learning.

– Special Education Teachers

– Language Instructors

– Arts and Music Teachers, dance

– Physical Education Teachers

Job Requirement:

• At least 3 successful years of teaching experience in primary/secondary environment
• Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Teaching certification or license
• Proven experience teaching related subjects, preferably at the high school/college level
• Strong knowledge of related concepts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in Douala, starting 01st August 2024
• Cameroonian/Local only

Suitable candidates will:

• Be able to teach across the age and ability range
• Teach the subjects from an international perspective
• Be able to teach and communicate fluently in English
• Have experience writing schemes of work
• Open to teaching any other subject to complete their teaching load
• Be able to work and teach using IT apps
• Inspire and engage students
• Experience with the Cambridge Framework

Experience teaching a learning objectives-based curriculum would be an advantage.
