JOB VACANCY : Laboratory Technician - Mount Carmel Healthcare Foundation

 Job Description:
Mount Carmel Healthcare Foundation Mile 2 Limbe is seeking for the services of an
experienced, skilled and motivated laboratory technician to join our team. The laboratory
technician will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests
and analyses.
 Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct a wide range of routine and specialized tests and analyses of samples according
to standard operating procedures
• Perform tests like blood work, urinalysis, microbiology samples and more
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, centrifuges, microscopes
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analysis
• Document test results and maintain detailed records of all laboratory activities
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Adhering to all safety protocols and quality control measures
• Collaborating with medical staff to provide timely and accurate test results
• Restocking and organizing laboratory supplies and equipment
• Provide technical support and training to other laboratory staff as needed
• Can be assigned to other duties by the Chief Nursing Officer
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science
• 4+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficient in the use of common laboratory equipment and instrumentation
