RESIDENT PARENTAL ASSISTANT                                                                                                                       

A home in the city of Yaoundé is looking for a highly qualified parental assistant for its needs .

If you have experience in this field, are caring, patient, educational and have good contact with children, then this offer is for you.

MAIN MISSIONS AND TASKS

Cleanliness, hygiene and food mission

Carry out cleaning, maintenance and tidying up of the living environment of the house and the children (living room, kitchen, children's shower, bedrooms (children and visitors, bathroom, etc.)
Bathe them, take care of their hygiene
Washing (by machine) and ironing parents' and children's clothes
Prepare their meals based on menus and dishes recommended by parents
Psycho-educational mission

Ensure the physical and moral well-being of children
Actively participate in fun and educational games and activities that promote children's awareness and psychomotor development (games, reading, drawing, etc.)
Teach children everyday gestures and good manners (politeness, bathing, brushing teeth, eating at the table, etc.)
Provide academic and extracurricular support for children (homework, music, culture, etc.)
Information mission

Report to parents any major facts and any observations requiring specific intervention on their part
Provide relevant suggestions on activities conducive to the psychomotor and educational development of children
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Having received a good education yourself
Be patient, caring and educational
Be creative, sporty and able to participate in fun activities
Have an excellent sense of hygiene
Being gentle while knowing how to show authority
Be able to work with very demanding parents
Know how to cook well
OTHER USEFUL ASSETS

Mastering first aid gestures
Know how to speak a Beti language
Have training in childcare/early childhood support
IMPORTANT NOTE

The job of parental assistant should in no way be considered as an activity to be taken lightly and to be carried out out of "spite" while waiting to find something better.

This is absolutely not about abandoning children to a tablet or a phone all day long so that they can indulge in watching soap operas with no educational value. If you have this profile, DO NOT APPLY .
