Easyhealth is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing health outcomes for
vulnerable populations in Cameroon. Our mission is to provide equitable access to healthcare
services and information, empowering communities to lead healthier lives. To strengthen our
efforts, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
Officer to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing
robust M&E systems to track the progress, effectiveness, and impact of our health-focused
projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in M&E, a strong understanding of data
collection and analysis, and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and systems to monitor project activities,
outputs, and outcomes.
2. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess project performance and impact.
3. Prepare regular M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors and
partners.
4. Conduct field visits to monitor project implementation and ensure compliance with M&E
standards.
5. Support capacity-building initiatives to train project staff and partners on M&E best practices.
6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure M&E findings are integrated into program planning
and decision-making.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and documentation for all M&E activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a
related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the health
or development sector.
- Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA, or
similar).
- Experience in designing surveys, conducting data analysis, and preparing reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the Cameroonian health system and vulnerable populations is an asset.
