We are looking for a Consultant to to facilitate the production of a documentary showcasing
the Leading the Change 2 (LtC2) success stories.
1. Context and justification
The Leading the Change phase 2 (LtC2) initiative, led by the Coastal Forest Programme of
WWF Cameroon, has successfully contributed to climate change mitigation, poverty
alleviation, and capacity building through various projects in several communities. WWF
Cameroon Country Office (WWF CCO) is seeking a consultant to facilitate the creation of a
professional documentary that highlights key success stories from the LtC2 project. The
documentary will serve as a tool to raise awareness and promote the project’s achievements
to a wider audience. The consultant will be responsible for capturing videos, photos, and
producing the final documentary, with technical support from WWF..
2. Objectives of the service
The objective of this consultancy is to produce a high-quality documentary that showcases the
success stories and impact of the LtC2 project, emphasizing the positive outcomes for
communities and the environment.
3. Scope of Work (South West and East Regions)
The Consultant will carry out the following tasks:
i. Pre-production Planning:
• Collaborate with WWF to identify key success stories, participants, and locations for the
documentary.

achievements of LtC2, incorporating real-life testimonies and success stories.
• Design a shooting schedule and identify the required resources, including locations,
equipment, and people to be involved in the filming.
• Coordinate logistics for traveling to filming locations, including arranging interviews and
obtaining necessary permissions.
ii. Production
• Film interviews with stakeholders, beneficiaries, experts, and community members
involved in LtC2 activities.
• Capture b-roll footage that visually supports the success stories, including
environmental changes, community initiatives, and other relevant activities.
• Take high-quality photos throughout the production for use in promotional materials,
reports, and social media.
• Ensure all content reflects the values and messaging of the LtC2 initiative.
iii. Post-production
• Edit the footage into a compelling, well-paced documentary that clearly communicates
the impact of the LtC2 project.
• Integrate voiceover narration, music, graphics, and subtitles as needed to enhance the
storytelling and accessibility of the documentary.
• Work with WWF to ensure the documentary aligns with the organization's branding
and communication strategies.
• A dissemination plan detailing how the documentary will be shared with key
stakeholders, partners, and the general public.
4. Additional roles and responsibilities
The consultant will further be responsible for:
• Leading the entire documentary production process, from planning and filming to
editing and delivery.
• Ensuring that the documentary is of high professional quality, with clear and engaging
visuals and audio.
• Coordinating with WWF for feedback and approval at key stages of the project (preproduction, rough cuts, final draft).
• Managing all logistical aspects of the filming process, including travel, equipment, and
coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensuring the final deliverables are submitted on time and meet WWF’s expectations
for quality and content.5. Key delivrable
The consultant will deliver:
• A final documentary (approximately 10-15 minutes) that showcases LtC2's key
success stories.
• Short video clips (2-5 minutes) suitable for social media or promotional use.
• A set of high-quality photographs documenting the LtC2 activities and interviews.
• A dissemination strategy for sharing the documentary and clips with the target
audiences.
6. Duration
The consultancy is expected to last approximately 8 weeks, with the final products submitted
no later than the August 30,2025.
Reporting and Supervision
The consultant will report to Janet Mukoko, Communication Officer, CFP, who will provide
technical backstopping, support, and guidance throughout the process. Regular updates will
be required on progress and any challenges faced.
7. Qualifications and experience
The consultant should have the following qualifications and experience:
• Proven expertise in documentary filmmaking, including videography, photography,
and editing.
• Experience in producing high-quality content for environmental, climate change, or
development projects is highly desirable.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with an ability to convey complex issues
in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and
photography.
• Experience working in similar cultural and geographic contexts is a plus.
8. Application process
Interested consultants should submit the following:
• A detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and timeline for the
documentary production.
• A portfolio of previous documentary work, particularly related to environmental or
development themes.
• A budget proposal detailing fees for the consultancy, travel, equipment, and any
additional costs.
9. Budget and payment terms
50% payment before the start of implementation. A balance payment upon satisfactorycompletion of deliverables, subject to WWF's review and approval.
10. Deadline for applications
