Housekeeping Manager Needed for a 4 stars Hotel in Buea

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager who can deliver on the up keeping of the rooms for our discerning clients, if you have worked in similar hotel with experience in housekeeping operations we will be delighted to have you in our team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining daily inspections of the rooms
• Managing a team of housekeepers
• Driving quality & standards
• Monitor progress and cleanliness at all times
• Train new staff members
• Improving quality control and service throughout the rooms
• Implementing and making sure policies and procedures are adhered to at all times along with the team
• Regular meetings with the General Manager and front desk to discuss strategies and resolving problems
• Great communication skills

The Ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in a similar Housekeeping Manager role within a hotel
• Be able to work and manage a small team
• Able to communicate at all levels and give clear direction to the team
• Being able to act upon different housekeeping issues and solving issues
• Be able to give verbal and written communication at all times
• Used to daily checks & hygiene and reinforcing standards and knowledge throughout the team members
• Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
• Used to dealing with different types of clienteles with customer service being the top priority

The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in housekeeping.
