About EasyHealth:
Easyhealth is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing health outcomes for
vulnerable populations in Cameroon. Our mission is to provide equitable access to healthcare
services and information, empowering communities to lead healthier lives. To strengthen our
efforts. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Advocacy and Policy Officer
to join our team at Easy Health. This role is essential for driving our mission to improve
healthcare access and policy in Cameroon.
Position Overview:
The Advocacy and Policy Officer will play a crucial role in shaping health policies and driving
advocacy efforts. This position involves developing strategies to influence health policy,
conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be
passionate about health equity and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
2) Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Policy, International
Relations, Health Administration, Development Studies or a related field; a master’s
degree is an advantage.
3) Strong understanding of health policy and advocacy strategies.
4) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6) Proficiency in English and French is preferred.

7) Commitment to the mission and values of Easy Health.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence health policy at local and
national levels.
2) Conduct research and analysis on health policies and their impacts.
3) Build and maintain relationships with government officials, NGOs, and other
stakeholders.
4) Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and reports to inform decision-makers.
5) Organize and participate in advocacy campaigns and public awareness initiatives.
6) Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of advocacy efforts and policy changes.
7) Represent Easy Health at conferences, meetings, and public forums.
