For our Country Office in Cameroon, we are looking for two (02) committed and dynamic
Seasonal Drivers.
Reports to: Senior Procurement & Purchasing Officer
Location: Yaounde and wherever the need arises
Duration: Seasonal fixed-term contract with a specific or unspecified term – the duration will
correspond to the period of absence of the incumbent (holidays, illness, etc.), renewable if
necessary.
Context and justification
In order to ensure the continuity of logistics and transport activities, particularly during the
absence (annual leave, illness, accident, etc.) of a regular driver, it is necessary to recruit two
(02) seasonal drivers for temporary support. This recruitment aims to ensure the smooth running
of transport missions within the organization and to avoid any operational disruption.
Objective of the position
Ensure the transport of people, equipment and/or documents in accordance with the needs of
the service, in strict compliance with safety rules and the established schedule, during the
absence of the regular driver.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Carry out scheduled driving assignments (transporting personnel, deliveries, collecting
goods, etc.) according to the schedules provided.
• Ensure passenger safety and the good condition of the vehicle.
• Perform daily checks (fuel, fluid levels, tyre pressure, etc.) and report any incidents or
breakdowns.
• Keep track of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, etc.
• Strictly comply with traffic regulations and internal safety procedures.
• Provide a professional welcome and service to passengers.
Profile:
• Driving license appropriate for the category of vehicle used.
• Minimum BEPC qualification with good communication skills (written and oral).
• Proven experience in professional driving (minimum 2 years).
• Punctuality, rigor, discretion and a sense of service.

• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics appreciate (to prevent/minimize common
incidents).
• Availability to cover for the incumbent throughout their period of absence.
