Main Mission:
The Discipline Master ensures the supervision, discipline, safety, and daily monitoring of students. He/She contributes to maintaining an orderly, respectful school environment that is conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor student attendance, tardiness, absences, and movements.
- Rule Enforcement: Ensure compliance with internal regulations, school discipline, and the dress code.
- Incident Management: Prevent and manage disciplinary incidents in collaboration with the Principal and parents.
- Supervision: Supervise students during recess, arrivals, departures, study periods, and school activities.
- Record Keeping: Maintain discipline registers, absence logs, and student follow-up records.
- Communication: Participate in communication with parents regarding student behavior and attendance.
- Administrative Support: Support the implementation of the school’s administrative and safety procedures.
Profile Required
- Qualifications: Hold a Bac+2 (Associate Degree / Higher National Diploma) or equivalent qualification in any relevant field.
- Training/Experience: Training or experience in education, school administration, student management, or a related field is an asset. Prior experience in school monitoring, discipline, or student management is preferred.
- Key Traits: Demonstrate positive authority, impartiality, discretion, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Languages: Good command of either French or English; bilingualism is a strong asset.
- Tech Skills: Mastery of digital tools is highly appreciated.
