Job Description
The Auditor - Financial Operations will play a crucial role in our Financial and Operational Audit department. They will be responsible for conducting medium to high-priority risk audits, analyzing internal controls, and providing recommendations to strengthen our internal control environment. This role is integral to maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring the company's adherence to legal and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct financial and operational audits as per the audit plan, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Analyze the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
Review business processes across Finance, Customer Experience, Sales, Technology, Legal, and other divisions.
Provide recommendations to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and changing legislation.
Prepare audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and identify control gaps.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks in the financial and operational domains.
Assist in special projects and investigations as required by the Internal Audit team.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all audit-related activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal control frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information clearly.
Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools is an advantage.
Willingness to travel for audit assignments as required.
A commitment to professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality.

About the Team
The Human Resources team partners with all aspects of the organization, driving success through the effective and innovative management of people for both current and future business needs.

Key roles that the Human Resources team performs:

Executive Role: Specialists in all aspects of people management. High-level input at a strategic level into all key business decisions.
Audit Role: Ensures all areas of the organization are compliant with legal requirements AND best practice employment policies and procedures.
Facilitator Role: Close partnership to support, advise and extend the ability of all areas of the organization to meet their objectives through the implementation of highly effective employment practices in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Reward systems, Performance Management, Health and Wellbeing.
Consultancy Role: Provide expert advice to the organization and it’s managers on any aspect of workforce management and employee relations and performance.
