TERMS OF REFERENCE
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Procurement and Logistics Officer, the Driver/Messenger will be responsible for the transportation of goods and people. Duties and responsibilities
Undertake driving duties as assigned, ensuring strict adherence to traffic laws as well as speed limits.
Collect and drop off mail, packages and administrative errands.
Transport office and field personnel to various sites & regions.
Monitor the Project vehicle documents to ensure their validity (including insurance);
Ensure daily maintenance of the vehicle: Check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, fire extinguisher etc.;
Report all technical malfunctions of the vehicle to the line manager.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the Project vehicles in approved garages.
Maintain a mileage log in the logbook and record fuel consumption, oil changes, lubrication, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and ex erience
BEPC /CAP/GCE O Levels.
At least Category B driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a driver.
Defensive driving will be an asset.
Basic knowledge of auto - mechanical / electrical repairs required.
Previous experience from an international NGO would be a plus.
An experience within a Catholic Church Institution would be a plus. Good knowledge of Cameroon road map desired.

• Working knowledge of English or French. Bilingualism will be a plus.
Travel required: 60% travel within the area of work in Cameroon.
