Cameroon Mining Company is a leading iron ore producer in Africa. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors at our mine sites and facilities.

•  Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with legal and industry standards

•  Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and eliminate hazards and risks

•  Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices and regulations

•  Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses

•  Analyze data and statistics to monitor and improve health and safety performance

•  Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulators, insurers, and consultants

•  Manage and maintain health and safety documentation and records

•  Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field

•  Minimum of 5 years of experience as a safety manager, preferably in the mining industry

•  Experience in conducting health and safety audits, inspections, and investigations

•  Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations, such as OSHA, MSHA, and ISO 45001

•  Proficient in health and safety software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, SAP, and Risk Assess

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•  Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

•  Willingness to travel and work in remote and challenging environments
