Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and related documentation.
Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to align contract terms with company objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for effective contract management and risk mitigation.
Provide guidance and training to staff on contract-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management. Experience in the mining industry is mandatory.
Proficient in both English and French.
Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
