JOB ADVERT: PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Services, a leading Faith-Based Health Organization committed to providing quality healthcare and community development services across Cameroon, is requesting applications from qualified, committed and dedicated individuals to serve as Project Coordinator, on a two-year multi-annual project titled “Joint Action for Stabilization, Inclusion, and Resilience in Border Communities of Northern Cameroon (JASIR)”, implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
TERMS AND DURATION Contractual and full-time Duration : 2 Years (Fixed-term contract) Duty Station : Far North Region, Cameroon Salary : Negotiable
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education : Master’s Degree in Project Management, Public Health, International Development, Social Sciences, Peace and Security Studies, or a related field A Bachelor’s Degree with extensive relevant experience is also considered
Professional Experience : Minimum 5 years of progressive experience coordinating complex, multi-sectoral projects in fragile or remote settings (experience in Cameroon’s Far North/Northern Region is a strong asset) Proven experience with UN-funded projects (preferably UNDP) and knowledge of UN financial and reporting requirements Demonstrated success in working on stabilization, resilience, community development, or peacebuilding initiatives in border or conflict-affected areas Proven experience in the management of inclusive projects
Technical Skills : Strong command of results-based management, logical frameworks, and MEAL systems Excellent financial management, budgeting, and donor reporting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and data analysis tools
Languages : Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory Working knowledge of Fulfulde and/or local dialects is a strong advantage
