About Easyhealth
Easyhealth is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing health outcomes for
vulnerable populations in Cameroon. Our mission is to provide equitable access to healthcare
services and information, empowering communities to lead healthier lives. We are currently
seeking an experienced Communications/Outreach Coordinator to join our team and help
facilitate our project activities.
Role Overview:
The Communications/Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing our outreach
efforts and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare,
community engagement, and health communications. They will be responsible for developing
and implementing effective communication strategies, managing outreach efforts, and fostering
partnerships to enhance our organization's visibility and community engagement, with a focus on
healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies: Craft compelling stories,
press releases, and social media content to showcase our health programs and impact.
2. Manage social media presence: Maintain an active online presence and engage with followers.
3. Create visual content: Design infographics, flyers, and other materials to support health
program promotion.
4. Build and maintain partnerships: Collaborate with local healthcare organizations, stakeholders,
and community leaders to amplify our reach.
5. Coordinate outreach activities: Assist in Organizing health fairs, workshops, and community
engagements to promote our health programs.
6. Develop and disseminate outreach materials: Create and distribute health-related promotional
materials, such as brochures, posters, and fact sheets.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Health Education, Nursing or related field: Minimum 2
years of experience in communications, outreach, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare
sector.
2. Proven track record: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective
communication strategies in healthcare.
3. Excellent communication and writing skills: Ability to craft compelling stories and content for
various audiences.
4. Strong social media skills: Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
5. Graphic design skills
6. Community outreach experience: Knowledge of community engagement principles and
practices in healthcare.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
